As a child you watch the Stanley Cup finals and dream of playing in them or watching them. For each round of the Oiler’s playoff run I have been on Ticketmaster’s website at the exact on sale time and have had 0 luck. By round 3 I had 3 different people helping me. We refreshed the page at the exact time and when we selected the “any ticket? option and hit enter, it already said that they were all gone.For the Stanley Cup final round there was a press release saying that there are going to be no tickets on sale for this round. All the tickets were snatched by media, players, season ticket holders, and every other person that had connections to the NHL. Now that I think about it there are a lot of NHL sponsors and promotions so 16 000 tickets isn’t a lot.I really wanted to get involved in the playoff run and two days ago I got an email from the Oilers saying that they are going to put some big screens at Rexall Place for away games. Tickets are only $5.
