UK Stores To Ban “Bully”

bully-t-rating.jpgRockstar Games is well known to create innovative, high quality, but controversial games. Rockstar Games is the company that made the Grand Theft Auto series. The GTA games have gone under the microscope before and it was decided that they could be sold but only if they included a “Mature” rating. If a video game has a mature rating, the purchaser must be at least 17 years old (in Canada).

It’s not like Rockstar Games has been sitting back in their comfy chair for the past two years, no, they have created another high quality, entertaining, yet controversial game. The new game is called Bully or Canis Canem Edit in the UK. The game is esentially about a young boy who is bullyed in school fights back. It has been noted that the game is some what violent but does not contain blood.

Two retails in the UK, Currys and PC World, both owned by DSG International PLC will not be selling the game, which hits stores in the UK on October 27. For the North American crowd, it is already in stores. The two retails say that they don’t want to tarnish their family friendly reputation.

I just ordered the game and it should be here soon. I will have a full review when it comes.
