After Thursday’s upgrade to the grid server, Media Temple promised better service. Just as I thought I was getting great service again, I go to check my website and guess what I see? A DATABASE ERROR! When will this ever end? I really hope that Media Temple gives some sort of compensation for this.
Actually I got an email from another disappointed Media Temple customer. He told me that Media Temple have him 3 months free as compensation. I’m not about to email them to receive compensation, (mt) should be big boys and either fix their service and/or compensate on their own.
In other grid server news it seems Digg co-founder Kevin Rose is on the grid. Prior to using Media Temple Kevin had a Typepad blog. After checking his kevinrose.com website it seems that he will have something special to come. Hopefully his site will actually be up when it debuts!

media temple is a joke now. their grid is a miserable failure. customers are leaving left and right.
if the awful grid mess wasnt enough their customer service has plummeted. they dont even bother to respond to customer problems anymore. **********STAY AWAY FROM MEDIA TEMPLE UNLESS YOU WANT NONSTOP REOCURING PROBLEMS AND DOWNTIME********

media temples sucks and they have the worst customer service in the world

I agree. Metia Temple has the worst and the poorest customer servie and support. And in spanish there’s a word: Cínicos. Cinismo. They mark as “resolved” his answers, even when the main issue or problem is nor “resolved” is just replied: “go to the FAQ, Go to mysql info…. search for info there in …….. we can’t find any problem everything is ok”……
I’m satisfied and Media Temple works for me, but the support is really a lie.

I’d agree with the fact that they mark problems as resolved prematurely but I would have to say that they have a very friendly staff.

Media Temple is my choice. My nightmare and my choice. I use MT just for the control panel and multiple domains features, so easy, very esy and some frienly to use. the storage is good, excellent for me. You can’t expect replies or treat from the staff , the last thing they wanna know is “what you think”.

I hate how I paid money to have a site down ever since it launched. I cant get any info from them and now I am having to deal with a re-boot in the middle of working on something important. Way to screw me again guys.
The best host I have used by far is icdsoft.com. I just wish they offered more disk space and bandwitdh. By far the best host out of many that I have used.

Media Temple’s down time is totally unacceptable. I have NEVER experienced such pain dealing with a host. I will NEVER refer them again nor will stage or develop for a client whose hosted on MT period. Their downtime very clearly translates into a massive amount of money lost for all of their customers… who can afford to be down so much and operate a business?
I’m not paying them to make excuses for them any longer.
